Frostville Museum is a living history of 19 th century Ohio in our own back yard. We are located at 24101 Cedar Point Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070 at the corner of Cedar Point and Lewis Roads in the Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Reservation. Our goal is to preserve and display 19 th century Ohio History. Voice messages may be left on our voice mail at 216-501-3345. The museum is open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm every Saturday and for special events listed on our Events Page to the right. A printable version of our Events is available on that page. The museum consists of eight buildings: the Prechtel House (the only home original to this site), Jenkins’s Cabin, the Briggs’ House, the Carpenter House, the Gifford General Store, the Wensink Display Barn, the Events Barn, the Frostville Village Church (formerly the Barton Road Church) and our newest addition, the Stearns Carriage house which is now the restroom facility. Check our History link to the right for more details on how Frostville was named. The Society has over 100 members contributing time, labor and craftsmanship. With the help of the volunteers, we maintain the buildings, the grounds and even the restoration of the buildings. During planned events, many members dress in period attire giving the feel of the 1800’s. Throughout the year we hold a number of activities ranging from pancake breakfasts to haunted trails. All of our events are family friendly. We encourage you to stop down, enjoy the activities, bring a picnic lunch or buy from our vendors. We offer fun in the outdoors and you might even learn something about our history. Tours for schools, scouts and other youth or adult organized groups are available by reservation any day of the week from May through October. The Frostville Village Church is available to rent for weddings. Contact Cindy Lentz at 440-476-9942 for contract information or by email at: Frostvillecindy@gmail.com .
