Frostville Museum Farmers Market

NORTH OLMSTED –  May 7, 2011 is the grand opening of the Frostville Farmers Market held on the beautiful historic grounds of Frostville Museum located at the corner of Cedar Point and Lewis Roads. The market will be open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., May through October.  Each growing season will be represented by a variety of different farmers selling their goods.  All vendors grow and/or produce their own goods within a 75 mile radius of the market.
May 7th is FARM AND FLOWER DAY!  Emphasis will be on education of a sustainable lifestyle through special programs supporting local family farms, master gardeners, and area nurseries.  Each week we will also feature music, cooking demonstrations and kids’ activities that promote the wellbeing of our environment.
The Frostville Farmers Market, located on lush property in the Cleveland Metroparks Rocky River Reservation, is dedicated to preserving traditional values about food while creating a new awareness for the future of our local food community.  Regional farmers, skilled artisans and local chefs will combine to showcase their products and talents as we strengthen the connection between the earth and the dinner table.
